Templating
We come to your boat to take precise templates of every panel. Get this wrong and the rest of the project follows. Austeek is also happy to supply you with the right kind of templating material if you’d rather do it yourself.
Manufacturing
Decks are welded and finished at our purpose-built Russell Island factory using UV stabilised, stain resistant Permateek PVC. We can build a deck to your own template and ship it anywhere in Australia.
Installation
The final stage where craftsmanship counts. We install on-site, or supply your finished deck with instructions on the correct preparation of your sub-deck together with the right adhesives.
Yes and no — it's your call
Depending on your manual skills, templating and laying a new deck can be a masterpiece or a costly disaster.
Austeek is happy to build a deck based on your own template. In fact, we’ll even provide you with the right kind of templating material. Likewise, Austeek is happy for you to lay your deck after the build.

What's covered, depending on the path you choose
You template, we build
The deck is built to your specifications. Warranty covers manufacturing defects in the decking materials for five years, but not the finished design.
We build, you install
Like the templating, the warranty covers only manufacturing defects in the decking materials for five years, not the installation of the deck.
Full Austeek service
If you choose to have Austeek do the templating, the build, and the final installation, all our work will be warranted for two years, as well as the five-year warranty on raw material defects.
The costs for a full Austeek service will be subject to a quote when the order is lodged.
Permateek PVC synthetic decking
Austeek has been appointed an agent for Permateek, a superior quality decking material, manufactured in the UK from UV stabilised and stain resistant PVC. Decks made with Permateek synthetic, composite flooring have the qualities and good looks of real teak but with none of the hassle often associated with artificial alternatives.

We come to you
Austeek is based in southern Queensland, but will come to you to template your boat, build the deck and ship it to you, and will return to install your deck. Costs for these services are subject to a quote when the order is lodged.
Build and ship
If you choose to do your own templating and installation, we’ll build the deck and ship it to you with instructions on correct sub-deck preparation and the correct adhesives.
