New brand, mature skills
Austeek is new, but their skills are sophisticated and mature, honed by thousands of installations on boats big and small around Australia. They are regarded as the most talented synthetic deck makers in the country.
Austeek has changed direction, to make their rare skills available to the wider market for PVC synthetic decks.
In its early days, the well-established Gold Coast shipwrights, Aczel Marine, adopted the Swedish invention, Flexiteek as its product of choice as the best replacement for original teak decks.
Times change, new products are perfected, and Austeek has decided that their skills combination of templating, welding and installing PVC synthetic decks, is their main point of difference in the world of decks.
To start their new journey, Austeek has selected Permateek as its raw decking material of choice.
Permateek is delighted to have this experienced team on board as an agent.
Among the many reasons for this choice, is that Permateek is one of the few major synthetic teak decking companies to have resisted the temptation to add light-weight fillers, so their product is strong and hard-wearing. Their decks will hold their colour and keep their grain longer than others, and is resistant to wear, tear, knocks and scratches.
A division of Aczel Marine Shipwright Services
Aczel Marine has been restoring and refitting timber and fibreglass boats since 1996. Their expertise in synthetic decking had its beginnings in 2000, and the team works alongside timber and fibreglass repairs, marine windows and custom components.
Aczel Marine and Austeek provide a mobile service to marinas throughout South East Queensland, and will take and deliver orders Australia-wide.
Introducing Permateek
Austeek has kept up with decking technology, and the team has started on a new and exciting journey with a dynamic new product out of the UK, Permateek —- a superior quality decking material, manufactured from UV stabilised and stain resistant PVC.
Decks made with Permateek synthetic, composite flooring have the qualities and good looks of real teak but with none of the hassle often associated with artificial alternatives.
